Chad van Gaalen - Molten Light

Chad van Gaalen is a musician, graphic artist, and animator from Calgary, Canada. I love the childlike creepiness of his style. He made the below video himself.

Fever Ray - Triangle Walks + Charles Burns

This is the sleeve for Fever Ray's 2009 self-titled first album. It was designed by Swedish graphic designer and illustrator Martin Ander. It isn't hard to spot this design's resemblance to the work of American cartoonist Charles Burns, of whom I am personally a great fan. Some people, (including me!) actually thought the sleeve was done by Burns himself. See an example of Burns' work below (related to his graphic novel Black Hole), and enjoy the Fever Ray song, which goes great with this picture.

Of Montreal - The past is a grotesque animal

This song is featured (in a somewhat sad context) in Spike Jonze's newest short film "I'm Here" released March 2010, wich tells the story of the love between two robots who live in LA.
A beautiful love story - must see! See trailer below, and full film online here.
